Sihl’s 3471 SuperDry is the premium imaging and blocking polyester signage material.
Do you know that Canon and Epson aqueous printers can make outdoor signage? – Its about the material not the ink.
Using this material you can make fine art quality banners that are tear resistant and block light from the rear.
Sihl 3471 is a slightly glossy coated polyester that has equal image quality and far better base strength that cotton art papers.
Being PVC free and neutral gray backed, its a neutral bright white from the front and almost 100% blackout from the rear.
This material can be over laminated with UV blocking laminates for long term external usage, giving giclee printing customers extra income.
Sihl 3471 can be used in a similar manner to canvas, it has equal or better color reproduction and works equally well on latex printers.
This is the preferred material for gallery display signage or when giclee quality reproduction is required of a sign.
Equally 3471 is the ultimate photographic or trade show display material, when you must hit a specific color – this material is it.
