With very substantial increases in light fade longevity at no cost in color gamut or dmax, this new wax encased formulation appears to have no compromises.
It should also be noted that the dark color detail is far better as is scratch resistance.
Canon has sensibly continued with 700 and 300ml ink tanks so there is no overinvestment in little used colors.
The common and very reliable PF-10 12 color head is retained along with the popular and readily available CMC-30 maintenance cartridge.
The Lucia Pro I Inks - The great all rounder
The PRO ink set introduced the clear CO inks which dramatically improved gloss differential on lustre and metallic media using the same PF-10 print head and MC-30 maintenance cartridges.
Suitable for the X000 and X000S printers in 24, 44 and 60 inch as well as the later and very common X100 and X100S series
The original Lucia EX 12 Color Inks
This completely reformulated ink set has very substantial advantages over previous ink sets being 12 color from the start and not needing to change from photo too matt black. This set has a native green and is highly prized for fine art reproduction.
Requires twin PF-05 heads and the MC-08 maintenance cartridges.
