Moab Anasazi, A Poly Cotton Bright White Canvas, Matt

Moab Anasazi Premium Matte Canvas

Matt Cotton/Poly canvas with a bolder weave than InkjetPro Premium Edition. The weave uses slightly larger diameter threads with more openness to achieve a greater perceived texture while retaining the dimensional stability of a cotton/poly blend when stretched. The new base feels very substantial in thickness and weight. Moab Anasazi is produced by North America’s larger fine art material distributor the New York based Legion Paper. Its quality is instantly recognizable on the wall by the bold texture.

Anasazi uses a bright white coating with sparing use of UV fluorescent optical brighteners to maintain color integrity. It stretches without cracking or tearing and is water-resistant, neutral pH that is compatible with both dye – and pigment-based inks.

The product should be protected with InkjetPro Aquathane UV for archival life and maximum color gamut. Standard .icc color profiles are available for many common wide format printer types but GMS’s free custom profiling service is recommended for color critical work or when ink efficient printing is paramount.

Anasazi’s coating is very consistent and durable with a gamut and DMAX matching or exceeding other matt canvas products in the market today.

Product Positioning

Moabs Anasazi and Inkjetpro Premium Edition are similar at first glance and both feature USA made canvas bases and bright white coatings, with InkjetPro having a zero OBA option.

InkjetPro Premium Edition (19mil) should be chosen when very fine detail is important as the weave is less obvious. Anasazi should be chosen when a more obvious textural response is required.

100% USA made, larger diameter thread and more obvious weave than InkjetPro Premium Edition. Laminate with Aquathane-UV.
