  | A satin-coated version of Moab Anasazi Premium Matte canvas that is specially targeted at Epson and other wide format machine types that cannot change black ink types without draining the lines. Users of the Epson 9600/9800/9880 as well as Roland and Agfa photo black pigments will now get the same or better black levels as users of matte inks with Aquathane-UV. Glossy canvas types have been available for many years but commercially unsuccessful. The early glossy coatings had a far greater shine than was acceptable for a canvas and were not water resistant and therefore required a highly explosive solvent coating. The cost was up to 35% greater than a similarly constructed matt type so there is little wonder why such canvas did not find its way into general commercial use. Moabs Anasazi Premium Satin is quite simply canvas nirvana for an Epson 9800 or Roland user chained to photo black ink. This heavy weight 450gsm product is water resistant and accepts all the GMS supplied coatings such as Aquathane-UV and Moab Desert spray. The product has a medium gloss level so the finished product has an attractive and gloss differential free look when sprayed with Aquathane-UV Gloss or Moab Desert spray.
