Acrylic Frames

The InkjetPRO Acrylic Frames are a classy new frame type of acrylic sandwich that allows the image to be changed without damage to the frame. Unlike the earlier single panel acrylic types that applied glue to the print surface the use of a true sandwich allows various backing styles such as clear, frosted, black and white. The use of a backing also gives additional depth to the image, reduces the risk of fading due to a lack of rear protection and allows the use of matt materials and all types of inkjet and traditional prints.

Above Frosted backing, Stainless Steel standoffs
The InkjetPRO Acrylic Frames feature our exclusive stand-off systems that gives a 2.5cm or 1 inch separation from the wall With European styled stainless steel or Anodised Aluminium finishes. The panels come with the stand-offs in blister packets complete with protective washers, self-thread screw, wall plug and allen key. The smaller panels feature thinner lighter weight acrylic panels (4.5mm front, 3mm back) with holes of 10mm in diameter at 30mm from the corner edges.

Sizes of 30 inches and above are called Acrylic “Windows” and feature far thicker panels (6mm front and 4.5mm backing), preferably using the stronger stainless steel stand-offs, and have a much more substantial side profile. Acrylic Windows are by special order only, so please contact Giclee Media Supplies directly for a price quotation.

The number of stand-offs varies with size and weight but typically there are 4 metallic standoffs in each corner. Larger Acrylic “Windows” have additional stand-offs at each midpoint due to the sheer size.
